In the heart of Los Angeles and the Inland Empire, Karimah's Cultural Connection stands as a beacon of cultural diversity.
Founded by Jacqueline "Karimah" Quarles, a dancer, drummer and artist deeply connected to West African cultural traditions. While immersed in traditional West African culture, Karimah recognized the need to bridge cultural gaps through cultural arts and crafts. Thus, Karimah's Cultural Connection was born—a space where people from all backgrounds can come together to learn, express and share West African heritage and culture through traditional West African drum, dance and crafts.
Karimah is dedicated to sharing our rich West African heritage and culture by offering traditional drum/dance performances, workshops and classes; as well as develop and maintain cultural connections, allowing self-expression themselves through the arts.
